Looks change how your ship looks, never how it fights. There are four slots: sails, flag, hull and cannon fire; what you wear stays on every ship you sail, and everyone at sea sees it. Looks are bought and worn in the Shipyard's Looks tab.
Each week (Monday to Monday) 6 of the store's common and rare looks can also be bought with gold: common 400,000, rare 1,200,000 gold. The shelf is the same for everyone; epic and legendary looks are crystal-only or earned. Hull paints never come to the gold shelf.
